Many of the institutions we cover have been updating their websites for the Class of 2021 admission cycle. While we expect this to continue into the late summer, the changes we've observed to date warrant an update to our database.
In particular, approximately 20 schools have introduced changes to the early admission options available to you this fall. For example:
- Tulane has eliminated Single Choice Early Action and replaced it with Early Decision
- The University of Chicago has added Early Decision 1/2 options
- Texas A&M now offers an Early Action option for engineering applicants
- Cal Poly San Luis Obispo no longer offers Early Decision
Check out this blog post for the details. With other popular institutions like Wake Forest, Haverford, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Wellesley and Willamette also introducing changes, there's a good chance this may affect you.
Of course, it's easy to find out. All you have to do is rerun College Kickstart the next time you log in.
Stay tuned for more updates in the weeks ahead.
